Wow, an awful lot happens in a year these days...
This blog is now officially one year old, as of March 9th! I remember this time last year, debating whether I should start a blog as it was something I'd wanted to do for a while but never really felt like I had the time, looking around for the best site to use to produce the kind of content that I thought I would want to post, thinking about how to get the whole thing started, worrying about how many visitors I would get and whether it would all be worth it... well I can definitely say it was all worth it!
I haven't always posted as often as I'd have liked, , but overall I'm more than happy with how things have gone so far and the volume and geographical spread of the visitors... I started using Google Analytics back in April 2009, and in that first week I had less than 200 visitors - how times have changed! The visitor numbers have grown and grown on a weekly basis, the site passed 50,000 visitors some time ago, and the rise of the site up the Google rankings for many of the key search words has been very pleasing...
There's a lot of new courses and certifications being released in the coming months from VMware, I'm already aware of what's coming and roughly when things will happen, and of course I'll be posting as much information as I can as soon as I'm allowed! I've also got lots of other ideas for content that I'm hoping to add in the coming weeks and months...
Thanks to all the visitors who've stopped by so far, and to all those who've left comments and sent me emails, keep them coming!
Scott.
